About My Clients
I work with adults in midlife and adults over 70 as they navigate life’s most significant transitions—times that can often feel overwhelming or hard to share with others. Together, we make room for grief and loss, relationship challenges and changes, anxiety about aging, and major life transitions. I also support clients as they rediscover who they are, build self-confidence, and find steadiness amid general unease or anxiety.
My Background and Approach
In 2021, I launched a podcast about people who have made major life changes after age 40, featuring conversations with adults about how they navigated hard emotions to make desired changes in their careers, relationships, health, and friendships, and, most importantly, how they viewed themselves in relation to the rest of their world. I am also a storytelling advocate, sharing personal stories on stage and speaking at events about the power of storytelling. Through this work, I have reaffirmed my belief in storytelling as a powerful therapeutic tool that helps people make sense of their experiences, reclaim their voice, and find meaning in change. I am also a certified life coach with a strong interest in addressing loneliness and fostering connection. My approach is grounded in empathy and curiosity, with a strengths-based perspective. I am committed to creating a supportive, reflective space where clients recognize their value, find their purpose, and live fully at any stage of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe older generations are too often dismissed and undervalued, causing us to miss valuable opportunities to learn from their experiences. Every stage of life has value, and each generation has an important perspective to contribute. As a therapist, I'm passionate about challenging negative perceptions of aging and fostering meaningful connection through conversation, storytelling, and opportunities to learn and grow together.
