About My Clients
My clients are adults needing help with career-related issues (resume, cover letter, job search, interviewing, transitioning to a new field, and more), anxiety, depression, trauma; and/or relationships with others. They are new to therapy or have seen therapists in the past, but are highly motivated and committed to the work of therapy.
My Background and Approach
I come to the world of therapy from a Business background, and have over 10 years experience in real estate and property management. This informs my work as a counselor by giving me the understanding of the experience of transitioning to a new career field and the accompanying stress, anxiety, and self-doubt. I also have experience working with veterans, first responders, and other helping professionals on issues like trauma and job-related stressors. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy), Neuro Emotional Technique, and Somatic Experiencing, and offer service to address a wide range of concerns, such as trauma and anxiety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My view of therapy is that everyone can benefit from having someone to talk to. My goal is to reduce the stigma of mental health concerns and help my clients live full and fulfilling lives.
