In my clinical practice, I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, substance abuse, guilt, self harm, and relationships.
My Background and Approach
I received my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winona State University. Prior to that I received my bachelors degree in Family Social Science, emphasis in Family Therapy from the University of Minnesota. My work is based in cognitive behavioral, narrative, and solution focused therapy. I provide my undivided attention to understand what each client hopes to gain from their sessions, as I believe counseling is a key stepping-stone in rebuilding their path to wellness. I strive to empower my clients with skills, confidence, and inner peace as they navigate through life‘s journey.
