About My Clients
Relationships are hard...now and then, we all need a little help navigating through the next steps. Whether your a parent struggling with how to manage and/or understand your child’s difficult behavior, a partner wondering how much longer your relationship can continue, or a family dealing with constant conflict; we all face times when we don’t know what the next step is, or should be. I partner with individuals and families to identify and navigate through these difficult times.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and earned my Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Winona State University. I have over 18 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have worked in a variety of mental health care settings including home based, school based, outpatient and residential inpatient. Molly’s approach to therapy is strongly rooted in family systems, and I believe change within the self and relationships is an intricate combination of mind, body, and spiritual growth. I choose to build a partnership with the individuals and families I work with to illuminate their individual journey toward healing, and ultimately, joy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Through my career and life experiences, I believe God has grown a passion for helping people find healing within themselves, their relationships and the family system. I was raised in the Christian faith, and fell away from the church and religion for many years. As I embarked on my own healing journey, I found faith, love, and support in Christ Jesus and my church family. I can understand the hurt that some have experienced through religion; and hope to provide an open, loving, and non-judgmental healing space for people to find their journey to joy.
