About My Clients
I work with clients who may be struggling with life transitions, depression, anxiety, or trauma in the relational context. Our sessions will be oriented to the present moment felt sense experience, you will hear me say, "what sensations do you notice in your body as you talk about that?" frequently in our sessions. Most of my clients feel a shift of their embodied experience after one session.
My Background and Approach
If we are lucky in this life we will experience many inner deaths, each an opportunity to shed parts of self, to embrace our own expansion, and enter the next dimension of life. If we fail to die, we fail to grow. We have lost the ritual container that holds our rites of passage and without the containment and guidance that goes with it many of us feel lost, hopeless, deficient in some way and without a sense of belonging. Therapy in the depth tradition has become a space to compassionately witness and accompany individuals in the alchemical process of healing and growth. As a therapist I will meet you with curiosity and compassion, we will slow down together and explore your depths to bring to consciousness the things that may be obstructing your path forward. I approach this work through a lens of mindfulness, somatic embodiment, and attention to the multiplicity of the psyche.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a mother, a nature and animal lover. I am passionate about reciprocity with the Earth and have a deep connection with spirit and soul and have studied many spiritual traditions throughout my life.
