About My Clients

I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and perfectionism. My clients are often caring, hardworking, and striving to do their best, but feel weighed down by self-doubt, worry, or emotional pain. Together, we create a warm, supportive space where you can feel understood, reconnect with your strengths, and move through challenges with more confidence, clarity, and ease.

My Background and Approach

I’m a registered psychological associate completing my postdoctoral fellowship at the California Psychology Center, where I’m proud to work alongside psychologists dedicated to compassionate, research-supported care. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed my pre-doctoral internship at Children’s Health in Dallas. I’ve trained across diverse settings, including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, university counseling centers, and community programs, working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. In therapy, I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), always tailoring them to your unique needs. Clients often describe my style as collaborative and warm, with a genuine focus on helping them ease distress, build resilience, and make meaningful changes.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should feel like a true partnership—one built on compassion, authenticity, and respect. I view challenges as opportunities for growth, and I deeply value the courage it takes to seek support. My goal is to help you not only find relief from distress, but also strengthen your emotional well-being, cultivate self-trust, and live with greater balance and fulfillment. I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where all parts of you are welcome, and I’m committed to ongoing learning about how identity, culture, and systemic factors shape our experiences. Above all, I want you to feel supported in creating a life where you feel grounded, connected, and confident navigating whatever comes your way.
