About My Clients
Are you feeling sad, scared, or stuck, but worried that no one will understand? Are you and your partner struggling in your relationship? Do you feel overwhelmed by life, especially when it seems so easy to everyone else? My clients often tell me they feel out of step with those around them, and I tell them I often do, too! As a neurodivergent therapist, I'm passionate about helping my clients navigate school, work, and relationships in ways that make sense to them.
My Background and Approach
I have dual Masters degrees in Social Work and Education, which means I'm equally comfortable working with adults and teens, and can help clients navigate a variety of parenting concerns. My therapeutic approach draws from multiple evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, and ACT. My practice is emotionally focused, client-centered, and strengths-based. I have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I bring curiosity, empathy, and humor to every session, and encourage clients to do the same. In our sessions, we'll do hard things together, but we'll have fun and gain knowledge and understanding along the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an AuDHD therapist, I practice through a lived experience, ND-affirming lens. I can help you navigate life in a way that makes sense to you. I am passionate about supporting people impacted by complex trauma, and will walk beside you as you process, learn, heal, and thrive. I'm an LGBTQIA2S+ affirming provider who strives to create a safe and accepting space where all aspects of your identity are honored and valid.
