About My Clients
As an eclectic therapist, I primarily draw from psychodynamic, relational, cognitive behavioral, and humanistic theory to provide an inclusive, affirming, trauma-sensitive space for individuals to engage in healing and self-exploration. I have experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings with adults battling challenges including PTSD/complex trauma, domestic/intimate partner violence, mood disorders, LGBTQIA+ issues, personality disorders, and perinatal mental health.
My Background and Approach
My approach to treatment is collaborative, relational, and person-centered. I work to create a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Drawing from modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care, I tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs and goals. I believe in fostering self-awareness, building on strengths, and supporting meaningful change through a compassionate and structured therapeutic relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Clients can expect to gain greater self-awareness, emotional insight, and practical tools to manage life's challenges. Through our work together, clients often develop healthier coping strategies, improved communication skills, and a deeper understanding of patterns that may be holding them back. My goal is to help clients feel more empowered, resilient, and aligned with their values so they can move forward with clarity and confidence. Whether navigating anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma, or personal growth, therapy provides a supportive space for meaningful and lasting change.
