About My Clients
When working together, clients can expect a therapeutic experience rooted in respect, curiosity, and collaboration. My approach is centered on building a trusting relationship where people feel safe to explore their challenges and empowered to move toward change and healing. My goal is not to provide all the answers, but to walk alongside each person in their process—to help uncover what already exists within: strength, wisdom, and capacity for change.
My Background and Approach
In counseling, I aim to create safe, collaborative space where people feel seen, heard, and empowered. I specialize in supporting adults navigating trauma responses, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My therapeutic style is relational, warm, and strengths-based. I tailor treatment to fit the unique needs and goals of each client, drawing from evidence-based practices such as: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) Motivational Interviewing (MI)
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As part of my commitment to anti-racist practice, I actively reflect on how systems of power, privilege, and oppression impact mental health. I strive to create space for clients to bring their full identities into the room and to name the broader social and structural forces that may shape their lived experiences.
