About My Clients

My practice is ideal for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, C-PTSD, PTSD, low self esteem, self doubt, & relationship/attachment related issues who are ready to dive deep into their psyches to discover new parts of themselves, new ways of experiencing their pain, and new coping strategies. This deep inner work helps my clients make lasting changes that gives them the ability to fully connect to the life they live and the people they love.

My Background and Approach

Counseling for me is all about having a safe relationship in which you can examine and express your inner truth, and show up exactly as you are. I strive to help you feel seen and heard, and will meet you with compassion wherever you are in your emotions in the moment. I am calm, intuitive, and gentle, yet clear and decisive when working with my clients. It is in my nature to be playful and humorous, but I am also grounded, respectful, and focused in my approach. It is important for me to remain curious, open, and engaged, while being with you in a way that is authentic and unique to you and your individual needs. Counseling is an opportunity to invest in yourself, and take care of your mental health and sense of overall wellbeing. I welcome you into a safe and enriching therapy space, to help you unfold and nurture your unique strengths and inner wisdom, guiding you towards experiencing more freedom, kindness, fulfilment and peace within yourself.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that humans have an innate capacity to heal that is inhibited for various reasons. These inhibitions create barriers to our natural ability to live lives where we can truly thrive. Our distressing emotions are great indicators of these barriers and whether or not we are aware, they are showing us where the healing needs to begin. In attempt to heal, we often look over the physical experience and focus on changing the mind. The senses our body provides act as guides towards what needs healing. Through somatic-based practices, I help you connect with your body to allow it to process its pain, open up to sense of safety, comfort, and ease, and most importantly, learn to welcome your body's sensations as sources of inner wisdom. Connecting to the inner wisdom of your body and mind allows you to begin to truly trust yourself to experience adversity, maintain healthy relationships, and authentically engage in a life that you can enjoy.
