My Background and Approach
My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I integrate evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also bring humor, empathy, and cultural understanding into the room, creating a space where you can be your full self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted just as you are. I value authenticity, compassion, and creating meaningful connections. As a second-generation Korean American and father of two, I understand how culture, identity, and life transitions shape our experiences. I'm passionate about supporting adults through anxiety, burnout, and major life changes. I’m also committed to equity in mental health and continue learning how to show up with cultural humility and care.
