About My Clients

I'm drawn to clients who feel disconnected from themselves, their relationships, and their environment, and those who are so used to being relied on that they’ve lost sight of their own needs. I've supported children, adolescents, and adults in navigating childhood trauma, sexual abuse, queer identity, immigration, loss, life transitions, relationship issues, and more. Through our work, I aim to offer my clients a chance to write new stories about who they are and who they can grow to be.

My Background and Approach

Being deeply known by another is something many of us both desire and fear. Being vulnerable means opening ourselves up to the pain of judgement and risking rejection. At the same time, we offer the most tender parts of ourselves an opportunity to be seen, accepted, and held lovingly. I invite you to reach out and be met with curiosity, warmth, and care. Rooted in humanistic and trauma-informed principles, I use an integrative approach to help clients understand the 'why' behind their patterns, and reconnect with their sense of autonomy, self-compassion, and purpose at their own pace. I'm trained in cognitive processing therapy, a type of trauma therapy that allows clients to reprocess the trauma keeping them stuck without having to "relive" their darkest moments in session.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer, Black therapist, the lenses of identity, culture, and sociopolitical context are key to my understanding of my clients’ experiences.
