About My Clients
You're going through a life change, have gotten some unsettling news, are struggling to cope with - or get - a diagnosis, or desperate to get painful feelings off your chest. Someone else has given you an ultimatum about changing if you want to stay in their life. Patterns from your old self are holding you back. Self-sabotage has made you your own worst enemy. It's a struggle to show up to daily obligations. Or perhaps things are okay, but life could be just a bit better.
My Background and Approach
I've spent six years working as a case manager and certified peer support specialist for unhoused individuals experiencing (often intersecting) mental health, substance addiction, and life experience crises. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the arts, and love to support creative clients. I specialize in rational emotive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief interventions, but my practice is also informed by behavioral economics, and body-centered mindfulness perspectives. Multimodal creativity is healing, so if you'd like to incorporate music, art, horticulture, movement, or theater into your own therapy goals, let's discuss it!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a transmasculine nonbinary therapist-in-training, sensitivity to my clients' cultural intersectional values is paramount. Saige Member: Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities
