About My Clients
About My Clients Sometimes life can feel like you're carrying more than you have the space or energy to handle. You may be dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, major life changes, or simply feeling stuck and unsure about what comes next. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who want to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and create meaningful change. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you're experienc
My Background and Approach
My Background and Approach My approach to counseling is collaborative, practical, and individualized. I believe therapy works best when you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in the process. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, and systems-based approaches. Rather than applying one method to everyone, I work with you to understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop strategies that fit your goals and circumstances. I see counseling as more than simply managing symptoms. It can be an opportunity to develop greater self-awareness, strengthen relationships, build emotional skills, and make choices that are consistent with the person and life you want to create.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My Personal Beliefs and Interests I believe every person has a story, and that people are often doing the best they can with the experiences, knowledge, and resources available to them. I value curiosity, honesty, personal responsibility, creativity, and the willingness to grow. I also believe therapy should leave room for the whole person—not just a diagnosis or a presenting problem. Your culture, relationships, values, experiences, goals, and sense of meaning all matter. Outside of counseling, I value creativity, learning, storytelling, and exploring ideas that help us better understand ourselves and the world around us. I bring that same curiosity into my work with clients.
