My Background and Approach
As a Newport Beach psychologist, my approach is active, relational, and rooted in depth therapy. From the start, you can expect to feel truly heard and understood. Together, we’ll make sense of the patterns, emotions, and relationships that shape your life—whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, or a general sense of being stuck. Therapy isn’t about changing who you are; it’s about helping your personality come into fullness. Even subtle shifts in awareness can open the door to profound growth. I’m not a passive listener—I’ll work alongside you to build emotional insight, strengthen self-esteem, improve communication, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Our work emphasizes clarity, confidence, boundaries, and cultivating the freedom to live with more meaning, balance, and purpose.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is about uncovering what it means to live fully and authentically. Life brings waves of uncertainty, loss, and change, and it’s easy to feel swept off course. In our work, I see the role of therapy as an anchor—a place to explore who you are, what you value, and how you want to live with greater freedom and purpose. I don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all answers; instead, I believe real transformation comes from self-understanding, emotional depth, and courage in the face of life’s challenges. We are all shaped by relationships, history, and culture, but within that we each have the power to choose, to love, and to grow. I trust that even in suffering there is meaning to be found. My belief is that therapy helps us discover the deeper currents beneath our lives, so we can meet them with clarity, compassion, and strength.
