About My Clients
Do you feel stuck in the same fight with your partner, yelling at your kids, or shutting down at work? My clients are couples caught in conflict, individuals hijacked by anger or anxiety, and teens overwhelmed by emotions. The common thread is disconnection. Disconnection from loved ones, from life, from yourself. You want calm instead of chaos, closeness instead of distance. Together, we’ll work toward the connection you’re longing for.
My Background and Approach
Life can feel overwhelming when relationships are tense, anger gets the best of you, or anxiety feels constant. I work with couples, adults, and teens to break free from unhelpful cycles and move toward connection and calm. With couples, I use the Gottman Method, a research-backed approach that helps you identify the root causes of conflict and learn to communicate more effectively. With individuals, I draw on DBT and CBT to give you tools for recognizing triggers and choosing healthier responses. Therapy with me is active, practical, and supportive. We’ll focus on what’s happening now while also addressing what’s underneath, so change actually lasts.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that change is possible at any stage of life, and that no one is stuck with unhealthy patterns forever. As an Army veteran, I’ve personally experienced the challenges of anxiety, anger, and relationship struggles—and I’ve also experienced the relief and growth that therapy can bring. I approach therapy with warmth, collaboration, and respect, helping clients feel calmer, more connected, and more in control. I’m also a fan of strong coffee, bad puns, and cheering on my favorite sports teams—life’s too short not to enjoy a few simple pleasures along the way.
