About My Clients

You may be capable and still tired of carrying everything alone. I welcome adults navigating anxiety, grief, burnout, life transitions, recurring relational patterns, LGBTQ+ identity, creative blocks, and questions of meaning. I work with individuals and adult relationships from many backgrounds, with a growing focus on healthcare and helping professionals—and others used to being the person everyone depends on. Psychotherapy is online for clients located in Missouri.

My Background and Approach

I’m Mitch Cartwright, LPC, founder of Heart Space Therapy. My approach is relational, collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in Narrative Therapy. Together, we make room for your story, explore patterns that limit your choices, and build possibilities for greater clarity, connection, and a life that feels more your own. Start with a free 15-minute consultation. Send a sentence or two about what brings you here; I’ll reply about availability, fit, and next steps. Detailed or sensitive history can wait for intake. New-client fees: $165 for standard individual sessions; $225 for 90-minute individual sessions; $235 for 90-minute relational sessions. Heart Space Therapy is private pay and out of network with insurance. Superbills are available for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan.
