My Background and Approach
My approach is client-centered and compassionate. I strive to meet clients where they are, honoring their unique lived experiences while gently guiding them toward greater self-awareness and I believe therapy is not about having all the answers—it's about creating a space where people feel truly seen and heard.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued — regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, ability, or cultural heritage. As someone from a first-generation immigrant family, I deeply understand the complex challenges that come with navigating multiple cultural identities. I grew up in a culture where mental health was often overlooked or dismissed — where people avoided confronting their struggles, yet continued to live in cycles of conflict and emotional distress. These early experiences shaped my path into the field of mental health. I chose this work not only to support individuals facing similar struggles, but also to challenge the harmful stereotypes and stigma that still persist in many communities today. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can break free from silence, embrace healing, and reclaim their voice — no matter where they come from or what they’ve been through.
