Hello! Are you here looking for a gender therapist that can help you transition or explore your gender identity? You're looking for someone that you don't have to prove that you're "trans enough" so that you can safely explore the real questions you have about the process. Perhaps you identify as nonbinary, transfeminine, or transmasculine and need someone that understands the nuances of of your gender identity so you can explore all the other life and relationship stuff.
My Background and Approach
I started my Denver private practice in 2012, during a pivotal historic moment regarding access to care for trans and gender diverse folk. Since then I've been helping people, like you, navigate the insurance and healthcare system to align their transition goals. My approach to therapy is trauma informed and I draw upon Polyvagal theory, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment theory in my work with clients. There is no "one size fits all" path to transition and its of utmost importance to me that you have the agency to align your gender in a way that's authentic to you. Some clients need one or two sessions with me others want more support for their journey. Either way it is my honor and privilege to support you during this important step.
