About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who want to feel more at home in themselves and in their relationships. You may be anxious, burned out, hard on yourself, disconnected from your needs, or tired of people-pleasing and second-guessing yourself. Couples often come when they keep having the same painful conversation, or when hurt and distance have become familiar. I also support LGBTQIA+, immigrant, children of immigrants, and neurodivergent clients navigating identity, belonging, family expectations,
My Background and Approach
My style is warm, relational, and active. With individuals, our work may focus on anxiety, people-pleasing, self-doubt, identity, family expectations, boundaries, or painful experiences that still shape the present. With couples, we look at the cycle you get stuck in, what each person is trying to say underneath the argument, and practice different ways of communicating, repairing, and reaching for each other again. I draw from attachment-based therapy, EFT, Gottman, IFS, DBT, and EMDR when helpful.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
I may be a good fit if you want a therapist who is gentle but honest. I’ll listen closely, but I’ll also help you notice patterns, name what feels hard to say, and stay connected to what you want to change. My identities as a queer, cis woman of mixed-heritage (Middle Eastern and white) and a first-generation immigrant shape how I understand myself, others, and the messy, beautiful world we share. Therapy is more than a job to me. I genuinely enjoy what I do and find real meaning in supporting people as they follow what’s alive in them.
