About My Clients
Finding a therapist can be a struggle. I have been there. How can one decide who will be an authentic person to trust with the pain that one carries inside? Although you fear what you will uncover during therapy, you are ready to let go and be set free most constructively from the “old stuff” that you may or not be aware of where it is stemming. Do you feel stuck, stressed, and on edge? Yet you are ready to face the anxiety and trauma that has been holding you back?
My Background and Approach
I have 9 years of experience working with college-aged students, Christian clients, Women, children/teens and their family. My approach centers on going beyond managing emotions and distress. Rather, I help my clients explore personal experiences and connections with past negative experiences while highlighting strengths to move forward in life. I use interventions that help the client build self-compassion; become connected to their mind, body, and spirit; and process their pain and suffering with someone who will bring empathy without shaming or judgment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all human beings are deserving of dignity and respect and, as a Christian provider, I believe that my spiritual gift is that of encouragement. With those concepts in mind, I offer a secure space for people to be listened to, feel connected, and feel as though they matter.
