About My Clients
I have experience working in school systems/private practice in the Central Coast and Bay Area, and have worked with youth of all ages (K-6, pre-teens and teens). I enjoy the wisdom and creativity of these age groups. With the right level of family support and engagement, I have witnessed significant positive changes with young people. I also provide services for adults. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, bullying, academic issues, abuse, multigenerational trauma.
My Background and Approach
I have experience in the school based setting and private practice in the Bay Area and Central Coast. Before we begin working together, we will create a collaborative, customized treatment plan based on your goals and innate wisdom. Typical modalities I use include talk therapy, sand tray, connection with nature, dance, art, sound healing/music, and mindfulness to help facilitate integration amongst all "parts" of the individual. I use play therapy for children, and occasionally with adults hoping to reconnect with their "inner child."
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in equality, social justice, racial equality, LBGTQ rights, and the "oneness" of everyone. I would like to facilitate a dialogue for people to overcome real and perceive differences. I believe hardships help us grow and become teachers to others.
