My practice specializes in adolescents, adults, and groups using a holistic approach to mental health and wellness. As a multicultural therapist, I truly appreciate and enjoy diversity and have always been surrounded by people from all walks of life so my goal is to start where you are and make you feel welcomed and safe to learn, grow and heal. My Background and Approach
My approach is practical, proactive and highly individualized. I combine therapeutic approaches primarily from Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, Relational Therapy and the Social Recovery Model with various somatic and mindfulness practices including Yoga and Qigong.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Welcome! I'm glad we crossed paths. I believe that it's not our challenges that define us but our willingness to recognize them and start the journey towards self-compassion, understanding, change and healing. We all have an innate source of wisdom and well-being but, sometimes, we loose sight of that so my gift to you is to offer you tools to build a strong foundation to support you through the challenges that may lay ahead of you. The journey takes work and it never but it's possible and I know you can do it!
