About My Clients
My clients are thoughtful, self-aware individuals and couples who feel stuck in familiar emotional or relational patterns and want deeper understanding and lasting change. Many are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or questions around identity, boundaries, and attachment. They value reflection, honesty, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship, and are looking for a space that feels grounded, curious, and emotionally safe.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families build deeper understanding, stronger relationships, and lasting emotional growth. I earned my MSW from Columbia University and completed extensive post-graduate training in family systems therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, where I also served on faculty and directed intake. I’m trained in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Family Systems Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy—all approaches that help clients explore internal experiences and relational patterns with curiosity and compassion. My work with diverse age groups, from adolescents to adults, in settings including outpatient medical clinics and crisis evaluation units, has enriched my ability to support clients through anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and complex family dynamics.
