Hello! I am a queer and non-binary therapist who offers an affirming space for those who are 2SLGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, kinky, polyam, gender questioning, transgender, and non-binary/ gender diverse. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to feel seen and understood from their own unique perspective and that healing occurs as you align with your most authentic self. I am able to provide letters for those seeking Gender Affirming medical care.
My Background and Approach
Even though I specialize in working with 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, I am not limited to working with only this population. I enjoy supporting those seeking support with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, PTSD, and OCD. The majority of my professional experience has been working with individuals who have experienced domestic violence, religious/ spiritual trauma, sexual trauma, and military-related trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a person who holds both privileged and oppressed identities. I am white, non-binary, queer, neurodivergent, in a more petite body, upper-middle-class, a therapist, and a yoga teacher. I value learning, growing, and connecting with people of various identities and intersectionalities. I genuinely believe that each of us holds a unique perspective of the world around us and that there is great power in sharing our authentic selves and ideas. I will always have more work to do to dismantle oppressive systems and my roles within them, and I may not be the best fit for everyone. Because of this, I offer a 10-minute phone consultation to answer any questions you may have and see if you feel we might be a good fit!
