About My Clients
I work with queer and trans folks navigating identity, trauma, relationships, and systems that cause harm. Many of my clients have had disappointing therapy experiences before—providers who didn't understand, who made them explain basics, or who pathologized their identities. They're seeking a therapist who gets it from lived experience, who won't make them perform or prove themselves, and who sees healing as both personal and political.
My Background and Approach
I'm a white, queer, trans/non-binary, disabled therapist working on unceded Kizh territory (Los Angeles, CA). I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, where my training emphasized liberation psychology, social justice, and multicultural counseling. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide telehealth therapy throughout California. I am commited to creating spaces where people feel genuinely seen, valued, and supported in their full complexity. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education, creative fields, and advocacy—experiences that taught me different ways people learn, heal, and grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I'm relational in my work, meaning I believe healing happens in connection—both within therapy and in how we relate to ourselves and our communities. I draw from feminist, narrative, somatic, and liberation psychology frameworks, always centering your autonomy and expertise about your own life. I don't see therapy as hierarchical. You're not broken and don't need fixing. My role is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply, challenging what no longer serves you, and moving toward the life you want—one where you can exist more fully and freely as yourself.
