About My Clients
Are you or your child feeling stressed, depressed, and/or anxious? Do you need help to feel more like the you you want to be? I can help. I am well suited to help children, teens, and adults cope with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and/or issues pertaining to sexuality and/or gender identity. Using the evidence-based practices, I help clients and their families learn new ways to cope with difficult life problems and reunite with their core values to live their best life.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Miami University in 2019. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), three treatments that have strong research support in helping folks cope with anxiety, depression, and overall emotion dysregulation. These treatments are tried and tested to help you learn and use new skills for coping with the difficulties life throws your way. I am licensed in MA, NH, CT, & NY.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I unequivocally believe in fighting for the rights of all marginalized populations. I stand with Black Lives Matter and the LGBTQA+ community. I work hard to own my biases and privileges and acknowledge that my experiences as a minority person do not make me an expert on the topic. I work hard to being a curious and open stance to matters of diversity and how my clients experience their identities in the world.
