My Background and Approach
I specialize in the impact of trauma on adult women, I was drawn to this work because I deeply understand the unique exhaustion of those who are high-functioning but struggle with the relentless need to be the "strong one." My approach is warm, non-judgemental, and fundamentally trauma-informed, moving beyond traditional talk therapy to facilitate genuine, lasting change. I view symptoms like persistent anxiety, depression, burnout, people-pleasing, and hyper-independence not as flaws, but as brilliant survival strategies rooted in relational wounds. I utilize an integrative toolkit tailored specifically for addressing these complex patterns. This includes EMDR, which helps the brain reprocess painful memories; Internal Family Systems (IFS), which brings compassion to the inner critics and demanding parts; and Somatic Techniques, which focus on regulating the nervous system to heal the body's stored stress. My mission is to help you experience the safety and connection you deserve.

My passion for therapy is deeply personal; it perfectly aligns with my core values of authenticity, compassion, and human dignity. I fundamentally believe that every single person is inherently worthy of support, healing, and living a life that feels safe and fulfilling. This is especially true for those who have spent years being the "strong one," believing their worth was tied to performance and self-sufficiency. I am fiercely committed to creating a space where you can finally put down the armor and receive the care you've always given to others. I believe healing is not about becoming a new person, but reconnecting with the authentic self buried beneath layers of survival strategies. The therapeutic relationship, built on trust and radical acceptance, is where we dismantle those old patterns learned in trauma. You are not defined by your past or your exhaustion.
