My Background and Approach
Mildred “Midge” Blandamer is a Master’s prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of prescribing experience and more than 20 years working in the field of psychiatry as an administrator and therapist. She began her career in the US Army as a medical lab technician and later served as an officer in the U.S. Army Nurse Corp Reserves. Ms Blandamer utilizes a wholistic approach in her practice focusing on both mental health and physical health. She emphasizes healthy living habits and the importance of quality sleep. She believes that her patients know their bodies best and listens to patient feedback with the goal of finding the best medications (when needed) to treat mental health issues without unnecessary side effects. She has worked with patients of all ages with Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress, Bipolar Depression, up to and including serious mental illness. She has also worked with patients in addiction recovery and with sexual assault survivors. Outs
