About My Clients
Are you living in a body that never quite feels safe, calm, or “at ease”? Trauma, anxiety, depression, and body image struggles can leave you constantly on edge, shut down, or at war with yourself. You may look functional on the outside while feeling overwhelmed or disconnected inside. I work with people who want real relief, not just coping. Our work focuses on calming trauma responses, easing anxiety and depression, and rebuilding a kinder relationship with your body.
My Background and Approach
I work with clients seeking support for PTSD, depression, anxiety, and body image concerns. My approach is fully evidence-based, using empirically validated treatments such as Prolonged Exposure and cognitive behavior therapy to create real, noticeable change. With experience as a professor, startup advisor (MBA), actor/improv performer, and bodybuilder, I understand a wide range of personal, creative, and professional challenges. I help clients use their strengths, develop new skills, and explore fresh ways of thinking, feeling, and acting to improve well-being, achieve goals, and build a more balanced, empowered life. Grounded in science. Centered on you. I offer evidence-based therapy for PTSD, depression, anxiety, and body-image concerns. I specialize in Prolonged Exposure and CBT, helping clients build resilience and create lasting change. With deep clinical, academic, and real-world experience, I provide clear, practical strategies to support growth and well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it’s rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect for the full context of your life. I don’t see symptoms as personal failures—I see them as intelligent responses to stress, trauma, and lived experience. Healing, to me, means helping you feel safer in your body, more connected to yourself, and more able to live in alignment with your values. I’m committed to inclusive, affirming care and actively support LGBTQ+ communities and mental health access for underserved populations. My work is trauma-informed, body-respecting, and grounded in the belief that people are not broken—they’re adaptive. If you’re looking for a therapist who is thoughtful, collaborative, and honest, we may be a good fit.
