About My Clients
Using the Gottman Method, I help couples strengthen their relationships by improving communication, building trust, and managing conflict effectively. In my work with teenagers I focus on building confidence and resilience in a safe space, often involving family. Special focus on adoption, divorce, ADHD, anxiety, and identity.
My Background and Approach
With a masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Edgewood College and training in the Gottman Method, I offer a systemic, identity-affirming approach to therapy. I work with couples, teens, and individuals facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and much more. My background in the performing arts informs my warm, creative style that relies on the use of humor and fuels my passion for supporting fellow artists and makers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Relationships are at the heart of my work. I bring a systemic approach to mental health and healing. Before becoming a therapist, I had a career in the performing arts. That creative foundation continues to shape the way I connect with others. You can still see my set designs on Madison stages—staying creatively active is essential to me. Because of this, I have a particular interest in supporting fellow artists and makers in therapy. As a longtime member of the Madison community, I’m deeply invested in the well-being of those around me. Whether you're hoping to strengthen a relationship, heal from past wounds, or move through a difficult chapter, I’m here to walk beside you—surefooted, confident, and compassionate.
