About My Clients
I work best with adults and teens who feel stuck in survival mode due to trauma, chronic stress, or overwhelming life transitions. Many of my clients struggle with PTSD or complex trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship distress, or the emotional impact of divorce. I often work with individuals who feel disconnected from their bodies, emotions, or sense of safety and are ready to heal at a pace that honors their nervous system.
My Background and Approach
My background is rooted in trauma informed care with a strong focus on nervous system regulation and safety. I am fully certified in Brainspotting and EMDR, and I integrate polyvagal theory and mindfulness based practices into my work. These approaches help clients gently process trauma while building awareness, regulation, and resilience in their daily lives. I specialize in working with PTSD and complex trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, relationship stress, religious trauma, and life transitions such as divorce. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. I work at a pace that respects each client’s nervous system, helping them feel grounded, supported, and in control throughout the process. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and non judgmental. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe enough to explore their experiences and empowered enough to move forward with clarity and confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be accessible, compassionate, and rooted in respect for each person’s lived experience. I value creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and accepted exactly as they are. I am affirming of diverse identities, family structures, and life experiences, and I approach my work with cultural humility and curiosity. I strongly believe in trauma informed care, nervous system awareness, and the importance of slowing down the healing process so it feels sustainable rather than overwhelming. I am passionate about helping individuals move out of survival mode and into a greater sense of connection, agency, and self compassion. At the core of my work is the belief that healing is possible when people are met with empathy, collaboration, and genuine care.
