About My Clients

You are carrying a lot—but you are also capable, resilient, and not alone. Whether you're a student, caregiver, first-gen professional, or cycle-breaker, balancing responsibilities and expectations can be challenging. If you're navigating anxiety, burnout, or past trauma, or supporting a loved one with severe mental illness, know that you have the strength to move through it. Therapy is more than just a place to talk—it’s a space to reconnect with yourself, build practical tools for resilience,

My Background and Approach

For over a decade, I’ve supported individuals, families, and communities through trauma, life transitions, and mental health challenges. My work has spanned child welfare, crisis stabilization, community mental health, and full-service partnerships for those with severe mental illness. I specialize in working with students, caregivers, first-gen professionals, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and cycle-breakers balancing cultural expectations and healing. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and action-oriented, blending evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness. Therapy with me is about more than just talking—it’s about building real tools to help you set boundaries, break unhelpful patterns, and move toward balance and empowerment. Whether you're facing anxiety, burnout, trauma, or supporting a loved one with severe mental illness, we’ll work together to reclaim your peace and resilience.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing is possible for everyone, and resilience isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you build. We are shaped by our experiences, culture, and the expectations placed on us, but we are not defined by our struggles. I believe in mental health access for all, trauma-informed care, and the power of community, advocacy, and breaking cycles. As a queer Latinx clinician, I understand the complexities of cultural identity, generational expectations, and the pressure to push through struggles in silence. I stand for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, first-gen professionals, and caregivers navigating their own healing while carrying so much for others. My work is rooted in equity, social justice, and creating spaces where people feel truly seen, heard, and valued. I actively support mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and housing justice and believe in the importance of rest, joy, and self-compassion as acts of resistance.
