About My Clients

Many of us can feel caught in a cycle of reaction, disconnection, and tension. At a young age, we learn strategies to cope with personal losses, transitions, historical traumas, and relationships that may not fully meet our needs. As we grow, we may carry old patterns of thinking, feeling and relating, and become increasingly less connected to our true self. I am here to join you on your journey to an authentic sense of creativity, joy and self-acceptance.

My Background and Approach

My areas of focus include pregnancy, parenting, play, individuation, life transitions, loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationship dynamics. Areas of specialty include, trauma, grief and loss, perinatal mental health, parenting support, infant and child mental health, Spanish-speaking immigrants, co-dependency and children of alcoholics.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Healing occurs when one is seen, heard and valued in a frame of compassion. I work from an understanding of how early relationships and experiences impact people. I accompany individuals, couples & young families to connect their experiences to feelings, process prior trauma, and recognize historical patterns of relating that may influence the present.
