About My Clients

I am committed to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth. I am passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and adult clients who are BIPOC individuals as well as racial and ethnic minority individuals working through trauma, anxiety, interpersonal relations, depression, stress, and grief/loss.

My Background and Approach

I've had the privilege of supporting individuals facing challenges such as depression, substance use, anxiety, and those within the incarcerated population. Therapy is a collaborative experience and my goal is to establish a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can freely express themselves and feel genuinely heard, validated, and understood. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from various frameworks including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and person-centered models. This allows me to tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs and support their journey toward healing and mental wellness.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a therapist in training, I hold a strong belief that therapy is beneficial for everyone. I deeply value the importance of addressing the unique needs of minority groups, recognizing the systemic factors that often lead to their experiences being overlooked. Embracing change as an inevitable and natural part of life, I am committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards healing and growth.
