About My Clients
We all have moments in life in which having someone to listen makes us feel a little less lonely. Or bouncing ideas off someone is helpful to learn which direction would be best for us. I can help you navigate significant life transitions such as moving cities, changing careers, relationship shifts, divorce, LGBTQIA+ issues, or leaving religion. My goal is to help you connect with your core values, build a fulfilling life, cultivate self-compassion, and enhance communication.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working with a diverse population that includes active military and their families, veterans, PTSD/trauma, individuals on probation, families and their teens/tweens, couples, LGBTQIA+, individuals in higher levels of care such as Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and group therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a relational and empathetic therapist trained in a variety of evidenced based models including EMDR, RO DBT, CPT, DBT, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). On the weekend, you will find me exploring a new hike with my partner, playing with my dogs, or relaxing!
