Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Modesto, CA

About My Clients

I support individuals navigating trauma, abuse, grief or major life transitions by providing a safe, compassionate space to process emotions & experiences. I work well with those who feel overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected yet are open to healing through self-awareness, skill-building and growth. Whether facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or identity questions, my goal is to walk alongside you as you reclaim your voice, build resilience and create a more empowered balanced life.

My Background and Approach

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Business Administration from DeVry University. I specialize in supporting individuals facing trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and crisis-related issues. My background includes work with children in foster care, individuals in juvenile and correctional facilities, crisis stabilization units, and survivors and perpetrators of sexual abuse. I have also led mental health outreach in Santa Clara County to increase awareness and access to care. Currently, I offer individual, couples, and faith-based counseling, helping clients navigate relational and spiritual challenges with compassion. In our first session, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental space to share your story, explore your goals, and begin building a collaborative foundation for healing, resilience, and growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens in a safe, compassionate space where people feel truly seen and supported. My passion lies in walking alongside individuals as they navigate trauma, grief, abuse, and life transitions, helping them rediscover resilience, balance, and purpose. I integrate evidence-based approaches like DBT with strength-based techniques, and when helpful, creative tools such as play or art therapy to encourage growth and self-expression. I also value the role of faith in healing and, when requested, incorporate spiritual practices like prayer or scripture to align therapy with a client’s values. Beyond my work with individuals, couples, and families, I care deeply about community wellness and have led outreach and education efforts to expand access to mental health support. At my core, I am committed to offering light, perspective, and hope while fostering lasting emotional and relational growth.
