About My Clients
We all carry our burdens and experience difficulties in our lives. Whether that be a developmental issue in childhood, difficulties finding oneself in adolescence, struggling with the aftermath of a traumatic experience, or the pressures of adulthood, I feel it is an honor to be a part of someone's journey to better mental health and wellness. With support, safety, empowerment, and the right tools, I hope each client grows through the hardships they may encounter.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working with young children in a special education setting as well as treating dual diagnosed adults who struggled with a mental health and substance use addiction in both group and individual setting. I am a trauma-informed therapist with certifications in Reiki as a Shoden and Okuden, and treating Borderline Personality Disordered clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and make positive changes to their lives. I believe that children do the best that they can based on their innate abilities and the environment in which they grow. I believe you cannot approach a problem with judgement and that with an open mind, there is always more than one way to resolve an issue. Everyone has a unique upbringing, background, identifiers, and sense of self that I hope to affirm and create a space to empower.
