About My Clients
I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I work with both adolescents and adults, promoting a compassionate therapy space for individuals to explore their identity and transitional periods. I bring several years of experience working with individuals struggling with ADHD, Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Depression, OCD, and more. I also have a background in community suicide prevention through local and national non-profits. Whatever your needs are, I'm sure I'll be a great fit!
My Background and Approach
I have several years of experience providing therapy to a wide number of people across many demographics. I am a fan of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and rational-emotive behavior therapy, but I am not limited to just those three. I strive to adapt treatments to each individual's needs. I am evidence-informed, and spend time in between sessions researching the most effective treatments for my clients needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe there is room in therapy for all sorts of people dealing with all kinds of problems. I believe a strong foundation makes for smoother sailing in therapy. At times I will address foundational issues such as sleep health and external treatments if there is reason to believe that improvements in areas such as those will lead to results in our own therapy sessions. I am a justice-oriented, anti-racist therapist. I believe in the empowerment of YOU and your strength as an individual within your community.
