About My Clients
I enjoy working with adults and teens who are navigating the lasting effects of trauma, attachment wounding, difficult life transitions, and more. My clients often seek support in healing relational wounds, managing anxiety, and building stronger connections with themselves and others. I welcome individuals who are motivated to explore their inner world, process past experiences, and create meaningful change in their lives. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space.
My Background and Approach
I have been in the helping profession for over 16 years. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with EMDR certification and extensive experience supporting adults and teens. I have specialized training in trauma-informed therapy, attachment-based interventions, and somatic approaches, which allows me to work with clients in a holistic, nervous-system aware way. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. I focus on creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can explore past experiences, process difficult emotions, and develop tools for emotional regulation and self-empowerment. I combine evidence-based methods like EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Solution Focused therapy with practical coping strategies, tailored to each client’s needs, so healing feels both effective and sustainable. I work with clients who are ready to understand their inner patterns, process trauma safely, and strengthen their relationships with themselves and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is possible for everyone, even when past experiences feel overwhelming or unchangeable. I believe that each person has the capacity to grow, adapt, and build resilience when given the right support and tools. I believe in the importance of safety, trust, and connection in the therapeutic process—both with oneself and with others. I believe that trauma is not a personal failing, and that the nervous system holds wisdom that can guide recovery. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, where the client’s goals, pace, and autonomy are central. I believe in integrating evidence-based approaches with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each individual’s unique story.
