About My Clients
Are you or your child struggling to feel grounded and at peace? Have you had trouble sleeping or managing your stress levels? These are very human responses to stressors when we do not have the internal resources to cope. As my client, you are the expert in your own life. While counseling can be challenging, you are the key to the change you want to see in your life. I would be honored to walk down that path with you.
My Background and Approach
I believe that the therapeutic relationship between the counselor and client is healing in itself. As humans, we are wired for connection. In a world of physical distancing, virtual educaiton, and limited social interaction, our nervous systems need connection more than ever. I integrate knowledge of the nervous system and the brain in my conceptualization of client problems. I take time to build a strong rapport with my clients. Through this rapport, I will ask questions and offer reflections to help you find a deeper understanding of self. I know how intimidating and scary it can feel to begin counseling. As uncomfortable as this can be, these feelings often indicate growth. I would be honored to have the opportunity to walk this path alongside you.
