About My Clients
I support individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds as they navigate life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional challenges, trauma, PTSD, and Dissociative Identity Disorder. My nearly a decade of experience spans outpatient therapy, residential mental health services, telehealth, and community-based care. I believe therapy should be a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, respected, understood, and free from judgment.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and positive psychology to help clients better understand their thoughts and behaviors, develop healthier coping strategies, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. I also draw on Humanistic, Person-Centered, and Reality Therapy. My goal is to help you gain clarity, recognize your strengths, work through obstacles, and build the confidence needed to move forward.
