Animals are naturally accepting and open without passing judgment. Studies have shown that interactions with therapy animals can lead to lowered stress levels, increased oxytocin, reduced blood pressure, and improved mood. My partner, Koda, is part Black Labrador Retriever and part Teddy Bear. She can join us in sessions, upon request, to help provide a sense of calm, comfort, and sometimes comedic relief!

Working with others to navigate grief and loss has been a meaningful part of my career. Because our culture is "grief illiterate,” we often find ourselves alone, overwhelmed and confused when dealing with grief and loss. There is no correct way to grieve, the experience is unique for each of us. Together, we can work through the stages of grief in a way that honors you and your loved one.

Depression is hard. I’ve been there and also witnessed family, friends and clients struggle under the weight of depression. I won’t tell you there is light at the end of the tunnel, because maybe you can’t see it, yet. However, I can offer insight and assistance when you are ready to lift the weight... because there are ways to lighten the load and you don’t deserve to carry it alone.
