About My Clients
The decision to begin counseling may feel a bit uncomfortable. I am here to support you through that process. Whether you are an individual, a couple or a family looking for help, my sessions are designed to identify your strengths, increase your self-confidence and support you through your challenges.
My Background and Approach
I have been a Mental Health clinician for nearly 25 years, throughout the Metro Atlanta and Columbus GA areas. Over the course of my career, I have worked in the Mental Health Court system, community mental health agencies as well as in a private practice setting. I provide individual and couples counseling. I also facilitate therapeutic groups/workshops. I utilize solution focused and outcome based psychotherapy and coaching methods to promote self-understanding and self- actualization with my Clients. My hours of availability are weekdays and alternating Saturday/Sunday mornings, which affords clients more flexibilitys to participate in the counseling experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a life affirming and gender affirming therapist who believes everyone has the right to exist and thrive as their authentic self. I encourage radical self acceptance, in wellness and believe growth and evolution may occur at any age or stage of life.
