About My Clients
I provide therapy for individuals aged 16 and older, as well as couples, supporting them through a variety of life challenges. While I am not a certified Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP), I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples impacted by alcohol use and addiction. My specialties include helping clients navigate generalized anxiety, ADHD, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, family conflicts, stress, grief, depression, and major life transitions.
My Background and Approach
As a school counselor, I have supported adolescents and families for the past 28 years. Over time, my practice expanded to include working with individuals and couples affected by addiction and alcoholism, ultimately growing to address a wide range of mental health concerns. I integrate various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, person-centered therapy, and family systems. I recognize that each person’s journey is unique, shaped by their own life experiences. My approach is centered on helping you turn inward, develop self-awareness, and shift responses to challenges in ways that foster personal growth. Together, we will establish meaningful goals, navigate obstacles, enhance communication in relationships, and build resilience—empowering you to move forward with confidence and clarity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am honored to earn your trust as we navigate your journey toward healing and personal growth. My goal is to support you in cultivating inner peace and fulfillment, regardless of the challenges or past experiences you’ve encountered. I believe even in the most difficult moments, there is an opportunity for growth and transformation. Together, we will explore new ways to communicate, respond to life’s challenges, and create meaningful, positive changes in your daily life and relationships.
