About My Clients
Hello, nice of you to stop by. I invite you to check in with yourself. How are you feeling right now? Are you feeling lonely? If so, please image a hug from me to you. If you notice you are feeling hungry or thirsty, please address that need then come back. I believe healing begins when we feel safe to bring our full selves into the room — our stories, emotions, identities, and beliefs. I enjoy working with individuals, families, adoptees, LGBTQIA2S+, blended families, and neurodivergent.
My Background and Approach
In our work together, I use approaches like EMDR to help individuals and families integrate their past, IFS informed treatment to hold space for all parts of ourselves, and DBT to build practical skills that foster emotional balance, mindfulness, and healthy boundaries. My goal is to create a welcoming space where every family member feels heard and valued, and where we can work together toward greater harmony, resilience, and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are all works in progress. Like art, we each bring a unique talent and ability into this world filling the world with light, color, and love. Every person and family carries a unique history and set of values that shape who they are. I see therapy as a space to explore those parts with openness and compassion. I honor and welcome the diverse ways people make meaning in their lives. Whether your journey involves reconnecting with your beliefs, questioning them, or simply seeking balance, I’m here to walk alongside you with respect and curiosity. I believe that growth happens through connection, and that every individual and family has the strength within them to heal, adapt, and thrive. Personally, I am the worst video game player you have ever met. I am also a beginning figure skater. So, I know it can be hard to fail, get up and try again. As my figure skating coach says, "It's the side you need to practice more on and not the bad side".
