My Background and Approach
Life can be challenging and it is normal and human to need support. My role as a therapist is to provide that support in a comforting and nonjudgmental space where you can be your most authentic self. I believe that everyone has inherent worth and is capable of change. My goals in session are to validate your emotions and experiences, empower you, and guide you towards healing. Together, we will explore you and your world with empathy, warmth, and curiosity. In this exploration, we will lean into emotional experiencing and build a mind-body connection as we uncover your personal values, unique needs, and relearn how to trust our bodies. We will build a toolkit of skills to develop resilience and self-efficacy. Let’s collaborate toward your growth, healing, and self-acceptance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has inherent worth and is capable of change and growth. Sometimes, we are not given the best resources or opportunities to do so. Sometimes we are just trying to survive. But we deserve more. We deserve safety, support, acknowledgment, acceptance, and peace. I strive to provide this in every session and hope to make the world around us a place where everyone can be themselves without shame, without oppression, without hate. I strive to advocate for all who just wish to live authentically. You deserve a loving and accepting world.
