I am a CalGETS provider for the State of California. I studied with the Gambling Studies Program at UCLA. I offer no cost gambling services to gamblers and affected individuals (spouses, parents, siblings, co-workers, etc) for those who qualify. Contact me for a consult.

I have worked in health care and educational settings. My graduate thesis was on the topic of forgiveness and my early work was in hospice. I work with individuals in private sessions and when able offer groups for grief and loss. I utilize psychoeducation and healing processes, often working with people in their first year of the grief and loss process.

Expressive Art Therapy is a multi-modal approach to heal; it is an adjunct I use to more traditional methods. It may include music, writing, dance, art and more.

Humanistic Therapy takes a whole person approach to healing and self growth; looking an individuals social, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

I have a specialty in grief and loss and a certification in expressive arts, I have found ways to work with those facing infertility to help on the road to healing. I was trained by the American Society of Reproductive Medicine in Mental Health, have completed the County of San Diego adoption program. and work with those going through IVF, surrogacy or facing challenges around women's health.

Therapy would not exist without the relationship between therapist and client. Carl Rogers believed in exhibiting positive regard to all those who sat in front of him. The client is the expert on their own story.

Therapy focuses on the whole person and not just what has occurred. I work collaboratively and look at the client through holistically and how they are coping; emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually.

I am a certified expressive arts practitioner (CEAP) and I integrate this work both in person and in Telehealth settings in cases where it may be helpful for one to get out of their head to discover feelings that may be lingering. Expressive arts is used as an adjunct and is a multi-modal approach to healing. It may include; dance, drama, journaling, music, writing and more.
