About My Clients
You may be feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected from yourself. You might be navigating life as a neurodivergent adult, living with ADHD, anxiety, or challenges with self-esteem and identity. My clients are seekers—ready for more than symptom management. They want to feel grounded, understood, and more connected to their authentic selves. If this sounds like you, I offer a space where all parts of you are welcome.
My Background and Approach
I'm Michelle, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board-Certified Art Therapist, and Certified Yoga Teacher. I specialize in working with neurodivergent adults using expressive arts, somatic practices, and trauma-informed care. My approach is collaborative, creative, and client-centered—offering space for reflection, insight, and transformation at your own pace. You don’t need to be an artist; just open to the process of using creativity to access your inner voice and build self-trust. Together, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and support your growth through a lens that affirms your identity and nervous system, rather than trying to “fix” you. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself in a meaningful and sustainable way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a neurodivergent therapist, I know what it’s like to live in a world that often misunderstands or pathologizes difference. I’m deeply committed to creating nonjudgmental, identity-affirming spaces where clients don’t have to mask or fit into a mold. My work is rooted in values of self-compassion, creativity, and liberation. I support LGBTQ+ clients, and I believe that healing is political, relational, and deeply personal. I strive to honor each person’s lived experience while also acknowledging the systems we exist within. I’m passionate about making therapy a place where you can come home to yourself—not as a project to fix, but a person to reclaim. I’m also committed to ongoing unlearning, anti-oppressive practice, and showing up with humility, humor, and heart.
