About My Clients
My clients are dealing with a lot: struggles with relationships, identity, work, school, families, and neurodiversity, plus mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, and trauma. Whether they are a 15-year-old trying to cope with social anxiety or a 40-year-old mom trying to balance everything while depressed, my clients want to find some peace, stillness, and groundedness.
My Background and Approach
In my practice, I work with a lot of folks who tell themselves, “maybe I’m just not good enough” and “maybe if I just work a little harder…” I can help you to learn to practice self-compassion and recognize your emotions in their mind and body. We can also examine how past patterns might be repeating so you can make decisions armed with this new knowledge. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, which means that I have completed a master's degree in counseling (complete with a year of practicum and internship) and passed all the preliminary requirements to become a counselor. I work under the supervision of Laurie Budlong-Morse.
